A Lesson Learned

Where were you,
when you heard the news?
Where were you,
when you heard what became true?
Losing someone
in a fight against war,
Losing someone because someone else wanted more.

Fact or fiction,
When you couldn’t believe your eyes,
when people told stories about other people telling lies.

Caught between the tensions
While reading a book,
writing a poem,
or while others laugh at you,
what could you do?

Looking for another answer,
Looking towards truth,
What does it mean,
To find the true side of you?

What’s important,
I think you should know by now,
What’s important,
is to figuring out how.
And what’s important
I mean to you and me,
is staying alive
and live towards the dream.

What does it mean,
to
start a fight?
To
lose all possession,
And to
lose touch with all of sight?

Do you remember
the last time you felt sad.
Remembering About
the love
That you wished you had.

Thinking about someone special,
And to remember how much they mean to you.
Why wouldn’t you want to forget
About the twenty minutes of life you spent,
With the ones that love you.

Dealing with these conflicts,
Conflicts of love?
Dreaming against the sands of time,
Thinking about the dreams that were lost.

What we want
is something better,
We want to find something more,
In the light that flutters.

Tell me your promises,
I want to hear more from you!

Is to knows what’s true.
To find out what it means,
To get more out of life,
it doesn’t matter
how much you have,
its about the life
that you made tonight.
