Crosses

From the ashes,
a cross becomes real
from the burning metal,
and from broken steel.
Some crosses are burned,
some crosses are brail.
Some crosses are for healing, as
other crosses bare betrayal.

From the ashes, from the fire and the dust
some crosses cannot be trusted,
some crosses live inside of us!

Some crosses are broken,
some crosses carry chains.

is to show dignity
